Bob Mazza accepts Best in State Award for Gruner at Pa Sommelier Judgement 2018

Our 2017 South Shore Wine Company Grüner Veltliner was awarded a “Best in State” award from the 2nd Annual 2018 PA Sommelier Judgment tasting panel, hosted by the Pennsylvania Winery Association. Our Mazza Vineyards 2017 Riesling and Mazza Vineyards 2016 Teroldego also made the top 10 picks.

The panel, made up of 14 regional sommeliers and wine experts, tasted upwards of 100 Pennsylvania wines in a blind tasting in early September. The top ten wines were featured at the PA Sommelier Judgment event Talula’s Daily on October 15, 2018, also celebrating Pennsylvania Wine Month.
