Erie and surrounding areas (which includes all 3 of our locations!) are in the Path of Totality for the April 8th Solar Eclipse! Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime experience as this rare phenomenon won’t occur again in this area until 2144, 120 years from now.

The best way to participate is by grabbing tickets for Lake Erie Wine Country’s “Lights Out!” Event for the full weekend in Lake Erie Wine Country! Online ticket sales have ended but same day tickets are available at select wineries.

Our 3 locations, Mazza Vineyards, South Shore Wine Company, and Mazza Chautauqua Cellars / Five & 20 Spirits and Brewing are all participating in this event, and both South Shore Wine Company and Mazza Chautauqua Cellars will be host wineries for this event.

For the Lake Erie Wine Country Event, you’ll pick up your ticket at your host winery, where you will receive instructions (SEE LINKS ABOVE) for your return on Monday to view the eclipse (where you’ll receive your NASA approved viewing glasses). Your ticket provides you with 3-days (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) to enjoy all 21 of our LEWC wineries. Each one will be offering an eclipse themed food item, which you’ll receive with a complimentary tasting.

IMPORTANT ECLIPSE DAY INFORMATION:
*We will also be open to the public at all 3 locations regular hours during eclipse weekend and also on Eclipse day, Monday, April 8th, though parking and space WILL be limited and ticketholders will be given priority for both parking and viewing space on Eclipse Day! On Eclipse Day, 4/8, we will not be able to guarantee seating, space or service for large groups at any location, and indoor space may be closed at capacity. Bring a chair and dress for the weather! Please note, we do not take reservations. Menu may be limited, no running tabs, and groups will be asked to pay together. We appreciate your patience with our staff!

Mazza Chautauqua Cellars / Five & 20: Figgin’ Full Moon Sandwich- Brown bread rounds with cream cheese, fig spread, swiss cheese & ham
Mazza Vineyards : Cosmic Fruit Salad- strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, grapes & topped with star shaped pineapple
South Shore Wine Company: Very Berry Meteorite Meatballs- sweet berry meatballs on a slider

Choose from a featured flight at each of our locations to pair with your food! (included with ticket)

(A specific area will be designated for ticketholder seating/viewing)
– Eclipse themed snacks available on Monday, 4/8 (cash only please)
– Music by Jonathan Nolan from 1-5 pm in the cavern or outdoors, weather dependent (with intermittent breaks)

Friday-Monday:
– Friday Music at Customer Appreciation Night with Tommy Link – 5-8pm
(Cocktails specially priced at $5.20 and $2 off draft beer)
– Open regular hours
– Mazza Eclipse Merch available (limited supply!)
– Eclipse themed drinks
– Over the Rainbow Food Truck on site (Friday-Sunday – check out hours/menu on Facebook @fiveand20)
Eclipse Day Only:
– Open regular hours (10-6)
– Yard games (weather dependent)
– Merch giveaways (Must be present to win)
– LEWC Lights Out Ticketholders invited to arrive at 12:00 or 1:00 (time TBA)

– 3C’s Catering Food Truck on site from 11:30am-5:00pm – with eclipse themed menu
– Music by Doug Phillips from about noon-6 indoors or on patio, weather dependent (with intermittent breaks)

At Mazza Vineyards in North East:

– Regular offerings including tasting flights and wine by the glass
– Regular snack offerings will be available
