We’re pairing up with Visit Erie for an NTTW Open House! Celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week by stepping inside some of Erie County’s local businesses during a series of special open houses. From guided tours and tastings to behind-the-scenes experiences, these open houses offer a rare look at how Erie’s makers, creators, and entrepreneurs bring their work to life. It’s a chance to connect with the people behind the places you love, discover something new, and experience the spirit of Erie County in a hands-on way.

Mazza Vineyards – May 4th (3 time slots available):
Join us for an exclusive production tour and wine tasting at one of the oldest and largest producing wineries in the state.
Mazza Vineyards, nestled along the shores of Lake Erie, is Mazza Wines’ flagship location. The winery was founded and built in 1972 by brothers Robert and Frank Mazza in a rustic, Mediterranean style serving as tribute to the family’s Italian roots, and is still family owned and operated today.
Drawing inspiration, experience, and technique from a lineage of international winemakers hailing from Germany, Portugal, Argentina, and beyond, their clean, experimental New World approach to winemaking has resulted in a fascinating wine list that ranges from crisp and pristine to robust and fruit-forward.
During our National Travel and Tourism Week open house, you can join us for a behind-the-scenes production tour and guided wine tasting.
In addition to the complimentary wine tasting (4 wines, your choice of a dryer or sweeter tasting flight), guests will receive a small snack plate and a discount voucher for same-day in store bottle purchases.
Please plan on arriving at least 5 minutes before your tour start time.
Please note: Wine tasting at this open house event is for ages 21+ only. Family members under 21 years of age are welcome to attend the open house as long as they are accompanied by an adult guardian.
